We will then move to the versatile Byzantine chain and will look at using this in a variety of ways.
Finishing your jewellery to a high standard using a variety of techniques will be demonstrated.
At the end of the day we will finish with looking at the best ways of polishing your chaim maille.
On day 2 we will move to the spiral and vertebra chains and will finish with a Japanese maille motif.
Other kits will be available for purchase during the course.
Materials and clasps for the projects will be produced in copper and enamelled copper plus a silver kit and clasp to take home will be £90.
The cost of the kits also include the pliers and mat for the students to take with them so there is no need to bring anything but yourself.
